- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 can (14 oz) white beans (such as cannellini or great northern beans), drained and rinsed
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp dried basil (or 1 tbsp fresh basil)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a bit of heat)

Instructions:
